Families Growing Together

Whānau Tupu Ngātahi

Playcentre is a special community where we, as parents, run the organisation and create the play environments for our kids. We intentionally extend the learning of our children through play that they lead.

TPoA Parent 2018

I feel like we are part of a community and that we are creating a positive environment for our kids and families. The satisfaction of knowing how much the kids love Playcentre makes it all worthwhile

TPoA Parent 2018

I think it encourages parents to be more engaged with their children. By seeing how they learn and develop and mix with other people you develop a really strong understanding of your child as a person. This must set up your relationship with your children for a very strong future.

TPoA Parent

My Tamariki get full focus attention from me as well as other parents. There are no distractions so they can get totally immersed in the world of play and learning. It is a real privilege to see children in this mode and have the opportunity to be drawn in as well.

TESTIMONIAL

WhatOur Parents Say

We conducted an anonymous survey to our parents so that we could receive unfiltered feedback and here's what they said.

Come In For A Visit

“I get to see what interests them and how they interact with other children (of different ages) and parents. Each week I see the development and how they are learning. It makes me feel more in tune with their world.”
